Accessibility

Tralux Immobilier wants the riseandheights.lu website to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement explains where the website stands and how to let us know about a difficulty.

Standard

The website is assessed against the international web accessibility guidelines, the WCAG (version 2.2, level AA).

Compliance status

The riseandheights.lu website is partially compliant: some requirements are not met yet. They are listed below.

What is not accessible yet

  • Contrast. The brand colours (salmon, orange) do not contrast enough with white text or with the white background: text on salmon, orange buttons, links and the active menu item in orange, the small “Information” label on the home page, the menu icon on tablets, labels and the focus outline in an apartment’s details.
  • Animation. The slideshow at the top of several pages changes picture every 5 seconds, with no button to stop it; its navigation dots are small (8 pixels). The small animated logo on the home page loops continuously. These animations stop if your device is set to “reduce motion”.
  • Images. The panoramic photo of the Val Sainte-Croix (“The Neighborhood” page) has no description; the bullets of the “Idéal pour habiter ou investir” list (home page) are images without alternative text, and the list is not coded as a list.
  • Headings and structure. The home page and the “About us” page have no main heading; elsewhere, some heading levels are skipped (home page cards, footer, Contact page).
  • Forms. The calendar of the “Preferred date” field is hard to use with a keyboard or a screen reader; error messages are not linked to their field; the required “I would like to” choice is not reliably announced; in the newsletter form, required fields are not indicated; on a very small screen (320 pixels), some side-by-side labels may overlap.
  • Navigation. The header stays fixed at the top of the screen and may hide the item selected with the keyboard when moving back up the page.
  • Languages. Some English sentences on French pages are not marked as English, and the main menu is named in English for screen readers. The English version of the website is being built: menus still in French, incomplete pages.

How this statement was prepared

This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on 6 October 2026 by Mikado, the agency building the website, on the main pages in French and English: review of the page code and calculation of colour contrast. It has not been checked by an independent body. It was prepared on [to be completed by Tralux: date of approval].
